We were as one babe
For a moment in time
And it seemed everlasting
That you would always be mine
Now you want to be free
So I'm letting you fly
Cause I know in my heart babe
Our love will never die, no

You'll always be a part of me
I'm a part of you indefinitely
Girl don't you know you can't escape me
Ooh darling cause you'll always be my baby
And we'll linger onTime can't erase a feeling this strong
No way you're never gonna shake me
Ooh darling cause you'll always be my baby

I ain't gonna cry no
And I won't beg you to stay
If you're determined to leave girl
I will not stand in your way
But inevitably you'll be back again
Cause ya know in your heart babe
Our love will never end no

You'll always be a part of me
I'm part of you indefinitely
Girl don't you know you can't escape me
Ooh darlin cause you'll always be my baby
And we'll linger on
Time cant erase a feeling this strong
No way you're never gonna shake me
Ooh darlin cause you'll always be my baby

I know that you'll be back girl
When your days and your nights get a little bit colder oooohhh
I know that, you'll be right back
Ooooh! baby believe me it's only a matter of time
You'll always be a part of meI'm part of you indefinitely
Girl don't you know you can't escape me
Ooh darling cause you'll always be my baby
And we'll linger on
Time can't erase a feeling this strong
No way you're never gonna shake me
Ooh darling cause you'll always be my,....my baby....
You'll always be apart of me (you will always be)
I'm part of you indefinitely
Girl don't you know you can't escape me
Ooh darling cause you'll always be my baby
And we'll linger on (we will linger on)
Time can't erase a feeling this strong
No way you're never gonna shake me
Ooh darling cause you'll always be my baby
You will always be my baby

bombed my calorie count last night at Tatsuya. hahas this Jap restaurant located opposite Paragon at the Crown Prince Hotel. Rather visible if you take the sidewalk. nice warm cosy place. with very good service and of cos very applaudable jap food. (: but for me, it will be a once-in-a-very-blue-moon affair since i d only come with my parents. the bill s just too much to swallow. hur hurs.

visited Relish a few weeks back with wilson & cj. very nicely done up place. Opened by head chef from Wild Rocket@ Hangout Hotel. Chef Willie Low. Tucked upstairs in a quaint corner space at Cluny Court, which is located next to Serene Centre. Just head up the escalator outside Gastronomia/ Cold Storage and it can be seen. serves nicely done burgers. Recommendations are the Relish Burger, Lamb Pita Burger & the Ramly Burger. (though in my opinion you can get Ramlies at a much cheaper price).

this is a long long overdued post. visited Basil Alcove along middle road at Fortune Centre for chow's bdae celebrations last yr.that place s surprisingly near our sch! here are the yummy photos!

Smoked Duck Breast

Grilled Salmon with mashed potatoes

Grilled Cod Fish with spinach puree

Chocolate Decadence

Tiramisu & Strawberry Shortcake

all their food are reasonably priced and very nicely presented. definitely worth several comebacks! (:

alrighttt. im BACK! hahas its 2008's 1st entry! (:
found my passion in writing again. -applauds-
anyhows/ 2007 has been a great year. great frens, family, food, fun. to sum it up isnt easy.
and im not gonna try. haha life s all about moving on ya! so no looking back.
but of cos. i ll update about my hk food escapades & singapore s too.
jus attended a career talk by AFC (Asian Food Channel). interacted with top executives of the company. was really an eye opener. i think i found my passion. i wanna go into the media industry... to channel my skills into marketing & communications. sounds real fun! (: looking forward to submitting my CV to them and hopefully get an internship offer this june *beams*

aights. back to floggin. here are the peektures for my trip to hk last dec! enjoy!!
HongKong, the pearl of Asia, is truly a place where cultures from the East meets that of the West. the vibrance in this city is reflected through the endless nightlife and flow of people day in day out. cultural fusion is also very evident in the foods that are found in HK, and that has made living in HK a very attractive option. Albeit the hustle & bustle of this city, HongKongers do take time off their busy schedules to spend on quality food and entertainment. Karaoke is one form of it, and going on hiking trips is popular among the younger generations as well.
talking about food, it will be never ending as HK simply has too much good food to begin with.
during my trip, i sampled some of the best dishes i have ever had and I hope to discover more during my many trips to come! (:
this 2 pizzas are from Pizza Express! Pizza Express has 3 branches in HK & they serve real authentic pizzas. thin crust, rich ingredients. they even have healthier options available! such as wholewheat pizza crust for the health-conscious.
me & wilson finished the two pizzas! they are huge right. i love th parma ham pizza (above). reallyyy good. the cheese shavings on top finishes off each bite with perfection! the parma ham s fresh and succulent too. wilson chose the mushroom pizza (below). its nice too! but i reckoned more kinds of mushroom could have been added (: but its good too! tho i prefer my choice -beams-

after pizza, we walked all the way to causeway bay!was a long long long walk from central. but twas cooling. so we didnt mind. ate at yee shun milk company!! the steamed milk there s to die for. tho i found another dessert shop selling an alternative to it. but yarh i ll ALWAYS eat this everytime i go back. they have a few outlets in HK. one based in causeway bay. near times square. but it actually originated from macau! (:

alright this is damn random. but i tink this girl i saw at macs
is duper cute. she jus got off sch and having tea break with her daddy
her cheeks are soooo red & chubs!! hahas she s made famous already. hur hur
had dinner with daddy jason & wilson at harborside grill at macau jockey club. since we are members, we can eat there anytime we want. hur hur. on my dad's acct of cos. but the Western food there s really decent! i d say delicious in fact. look at that below. baked mussels with miso cream & wine sauce. real juicy & cheesy. YUM!
the mussels are jus appetizers. the main dishes were as follow. this is the pan-seared ribeye steak (below) with greens. elder bro's dish. looks really presentable & delectable. n yupp its nice! the portions could be bigger though.(esp for guys)
mine finally came. after waiting & waiting. *the others' came at least 15 mins before mine*
its the baked salmon cod fish in pumpkin saffron sauce & alfafa greens. fortunately, my wait was not in vain! i think my dish was the nicest of everything. really. alot of effort was put into weaving strips of salmon along with cod and then bake it, before pouring the saffron sauce over. really creative! (:
met carlo and dora for dinner on xmas! (: with their lovely daughter annie. had dinner at this jap restaurant at sheraton. its my dad's fav jap food haunt. he knows practically all the staff there. including the chef of cos (: so we had special attention while we were there & they came up with a tailored kinda sashimi platter for us. those fish are flown in fresh from Japan every fortnight. so happen to have real nice ones that evening ! (: esp the toro pieces. real meltish!
the main courses were gobbled up quickly as we were all hungry. OOPS. so sorry. no photos for them. well i thot every beginning shud have an end. so here s the dessert photo!! we had pumpkin ice cream for dessert. really nice! refreshing & healthy tasting. hur hur
okay i swear this is the best ramen place i ve ever been to. interested parties DO ask me about it. its reallyyyyy good. everything s made perfect to ur preferences. your own tailor made ramen bowl!! the cha-shu ramen (below)

my side dish, the meat balls (below)

mine!! black sesame noodles with black fungi & shaven corn bits! (:

some random cha-chan teng at mongkok. served traditional cha-chan-teng eats. including this mushroom veg & maw beef brisket rice. real cheap! tasty too!! (:

alright that s all for now. updates again soon! (:

ydae was a super good fridayy!!! i shopped so much. hur hurs. retail therapy s realllyyyyyyy good. my gosh. shopped like MAD.first up. when i opened the exit of SESS leadin to mr bean. there was this huge mess of stalls having a flea market. omg. jus rummaged thru the crowds to shop. very nice vintage tees. hahas tho i know they re fr bugis. sellin for 11bucks but alright laa. i love em. so jus bot a few while waiting for wong. thn wong came. unfortunately didnt see anythin he fancied. so me him eugene went off to queensway to shop. joan was at facial so eugene was sorta left w nth to do also. n he needed berms. soooo we went shoppingg!! at first i tot queensway wudnt ve much of my stuff. boy i was wrongggg. i bot 2 pairs of jeans. 29.90each!! thn a dress. 2 pairs of earrings. that s about it. very happy. loved my buys. joan came after her facial. she bot a dress too! (: LBD. sexayyye. anws. wong & eugene bot shirts and berms lar. yay. thn after shopping. eugene went home for dins. while we sent joan to town so she could go meet edmund & janice. yapps. thn me & wong headed off to meet justin. thn off we were to dempsey! justin havent been there before. so twas a greattt chance to show him dah place. i made reservations at barracks. this place slo recommended. (: thanks babe!! it was a greattt choice.

the menu s creatively decorated with soldiers and mess tins were used to contain utensils.. CUTE. thn we made our orders. i had the perfumed chicken breast roulade.

it was great! tho it doesnt look amazingly appealing. i assure u the taste s great. esp those golden raisins on top of the chicken slab. the chicken breast could be better though. i found it abit tough to chew. n there could ve been more carrot mash. couldnt taste much of it at all.

wong had the bay prawns capellini.its basically succulent prawns on a bed of angel hair pasta.with microherbs sprinkled all over.topped with cheese shavings. it tasted good too!!

the angel hair pasta s nice. tho wong tinks it taste like bee hoon. i think it really soaks up the flavor of the dried chilli and microherbs effectively to give us wholesome flavors w each mouthful.

aights justin had the cod fish & chips!

the chips were good acc to them. i find the cod fish niceee! its like the LV of fish&chips. hur hurs. i couldnt taste the beer batter though. could ve been stronger. yarps. that ended our entrees. we were so full thn. so decided to share a dessert. had the barracks BIG strawberry shortcake. they emphasised that its the best. indeed it was!! but it wasnt BIG at ALL. hur hurs. but since we were full anyway, it was alright.

the shortcake s served warm in a small mess tin. there s condense milk concentrates at the bottom if im not wrong. the shortcake is slightly crusty at the top while there are layers of strawberry flesh in the middle layers and they re warm! (: real nice.

after dinner we wanted durians from the dempsey uncle. BUTTT so sad. his durians were sold out!! gosh. so headed to hougang area for some kickass durian. NOT. got ripped off instead. OH WELLS. we shall try better luck next time in geylang. these durian uncles shud be friendlier with their prices!!! -glares-

omg updated a tonne today. hahas till the next time. enjoy!! (:

met up with jerome last mon. (: its been ages since i saw him. he jus came back from taipei! some army trg. hur hurs. was feelin kinda down those days. good thing jerome sorta cheered me up la. hahas had sillly funn. like ordering something totally not on the menu n shocked the popcorn server at the counter. HAHA. kinda reminds me of the times i had w my best fren. we were always jus fooling arnd. being happy everywhere we go. hur hurs.

aights so it was dinner + movie. hahs i really was feelin rather sad. thn jerome msged in the nick of time to ask me out on a monday. which s good. kick away the mon blues that struck me. hur hurs. i wanted to try marmalade pantry @ palais rennaisance. so we bot tics for mr woodcock thn headed there. hahas dont ask me why mr woodcock. but i jus needed that boost of mindless laughs. (:

headed to marmalade pantry. it was like EMPTY. shockingggg. i tot it s closed lahh. apparently not. its jus that ppl dont usually dine there on a mon evening. hur hurs. which s good la. sorta had the whole place to ourselves. jerome conveniently said he booked the place. LIKE REAL. but yarh. the place s nice. like super chill for a sunday brunch or a weekday afternoon tea. (: i ordered the grilled pesto chicken wholemeal wrap with oven roasted butternut & tomato ($17)

its nice! the wrap is nicely toasted on a grill and the butternut's sweetness matched the savoury chicken nicely. jerome had the pan roasted beef tenderloin with thyme & garlic crust charred fennel ($27)

he let me try some. its nicee!! the portion s abit small for its price though. but the thyme matched the meat loaf very well. yumms. in the midst we were jus catchin up n all. bout his adventures in the wild. n my adventures in the drivin-me-crazy concrete envt of SMU. thn we ordered desserts! here their famous sticky date toffee pudding! ($10)

its warm and nicee! some ppl may not like it. but those who can take the taste of dates will love this. its warm and when paired with the chilled vanilla ice cream, it just leaves u cravin for more. besides that, we also had the homemade lemon tart with wild berries & raspberry coulis ($10). its duper niceeee. i loveeee the tangy zest of the lemon custard. really very nice. if i were to choose btw the two. i d go for the latter. hur hurs. no qualms bout that. aights. that ended our dinner.

headed off to watch mr woodcock. hahas its q a nice show lar. for those looking for mindless humor. u can really laugh q abit there. yarpps. cheers to the lemon tarted days to come!!

Labels:

was invited to bondue appreciation dinner at rain@dempsey. nice place! good chillout n all. food wasnt fantastic but company was funn. the prog was kinda dull tho. but yarh it was okay in general. here are the peekturess!

congrats to the new bondue comm members! wenkai jithan june kenneth zhengchang alvin iris huimin melvin bena robin charmaine. bring bondue to greater hts!

oh myyy. im feeling so sleeepy. i lack sleep. seriously. i tink i shall hibernate for 2 wholl days or sth to regain my vigor backkk. RAWR. its been so longgg since i blogged. hurs. my daddy finally cameee!! like about 2 weeks back. thn this coming mon he s leaving again. MY MY time flies.
ANWS. yarpps spent q abit of time with him. could ve been more though. if not for sch n schh n SCHOOL. darn. anws. mum went back indo for cous's wedding a week back. so those few days dad was all alone. yarpps. decided to spend more time w him. arranged for dinner at our fav jap restaurant. Sun with moon jap restaurant @ wheelock. (:

im happy to say that im outta the oh-the-days-re-just-so-blue-and-meaningless period. whee. like i sorta found some directions in life. know where to move on and stuff. learn not to be so grumpalumps. make more effort to meet up with frens. take time off for myself. stuff lidat. (: grateful for all the frens out there who mean so much to me. yarpps.

aights. so me daddy & wilson headed to wheelock for dinner last fri night. that restaurant dont take reservations, so we tot it d be good to head down say 745 n hopefully get a table. oh boy we were so wronggg. the place was packed to the brim with a line of waiting patrons. we waited..and waited...and insisted on stayin put outside the restaurant instead of walkin arnd wheelock like the other do. (we thot by doing that the manager may jus pity us and let us in..unfortunately NOT) thn after a WHOLE 45 mins, we got our table. hur hurs. they ve got the hokkaido specialties from Japan! some real yummy deals.

first up we had the hokkaido sushi roll; sushi roll with soft shell hokkaido crab inside dipped in mayo and veggs bits. it was really substantial and wholesome. (: the crab tasted fresh.

then we had the sashimi platter of 5 kinds. the scallop, salmon, mackerel, tuna, and prawn. i love the sashimi over there because they are forever so fresh! and u can tell they dont scrimp on quality at all.

after the raw stuff, we had semi-raw stuffs. hur hurs. we ordered the half cooked fish sushi. it tasted really interesting. the outer layer is cooked fish, while on the second bite, u get a mixture of both. real cool deal.

of cos, whats jap food without some umeshu eh. the umeshu at sun with moon is fabs. love the sweetness paired with those savoury bites. its these joyous moments of having good food with good company that makes life wonderful. -beamms-

next up was the tender pork slices. these slices are from the cheeks of those piggies. hur hurs. very tender and juicy. i suppose they didnt use much oil to cook this. basically they allow the oil from the pieces to ooze out and cook the meat in return. drizzled with black pepper bits, the hearty dish is a must-try.

thn we ordered the pot rice to share. 2 for 3 pax. i chose the seafood while wilson had the unagi one. really good. but the portions used to be more substantial. they were more generous with the ingredients in the past. now they scrimped on the no. of fish pieces or scallops or prawns. OH WELLS.

after those savoury items, desserts of cos must come! (: those desserts at sunwithmoon somehow always gets on me. im like tempted to try everything. oh wells. i had the green tea parfait in the end. something that i really like but always cannot finish. but i was feeling hungry that night larh. so had the whole thing to myself. -beams- its real good!! its a scoop of green tea icecream topped with a waffle pc lying on top of a bed of jellies, rice balls, cornflakes, syrups, and more cornflakes. dad got the black sesame puddin while wilson had the oh-so-boring green tea icecream. HA

-rubs my tummy-. a really satisfying dinner. after dinner i headed back sch to meet wong chowzer & mervyn for some red bull party org by bizcom. hur hurs. was alright la. q cool. they got a DJ from zouk to spin! (: stayed there for abit. met lings, tarn, lester, melvin n etc etc. but none of em were dressed up for halloween tho. but jerry was! he was peter pan. thn russell was the evil capt in pirates. thn zhicong was some taoist priest. ahhas i wanna dress up for halloween next year. its so funnn!! thn go trick or treat. (:

aights. all these shall remain as PLANS-i-really-wanna-realise as compared to plans-im-not-sure-of. ahhhhh.

wahh mad week s over. 2 presentations & 1 assignment. tough life we have these days. tsk tsk. sch s really getting hecticccs. eew. cant standdd. psych presentation was aights. dael did a good job doing what he had to do. hur hurs. n yarhh had a debate in class as well. its amusing to see how some ppl can get so agitated and feel so strong about their opinions that they lose control of their reflexes and eyes start rolling all over the place. hur hurs. highly entertaining. thurs was MA presentation. had a vid.wahh took dupe long to do that up. cheers to wong for the hard work. (: after that headed off to gym. haven gymmed for so longg. mmms been tinkin alot these days. keep reflecting on the facets of life. its like technology has advanced so much. communication made faster thru so many channels. yet we are becoming more distant from each other. u find urself facing ur com more than anythin else. have we forgotten the significance and basis of interpersonal relationships? i guess besides letting ourselves sink deeper into obsession with the rat race.. we gotta constantly remind ourselves of aspects deemed less important in today's society. i believe sincere and meaningful relationships are still important because that prevent us from losing that tinge of humanity in us. in secondary sch, we have our groups of frens who are always there for each other. hangin out with each other more than we hang out w our siblings. less of these can be said as we grow older. i find ppl becomin more superficial. besides achieving academic goals, it seems like we go uni to just expand our network as fast as possible. of course,im generalizing here. im sure there are many out there who disagrees with me. but i guess i just so happen to be one of the few who maybe experiencing frustration with how hectic sch is and how that caused me to forgo times when i can simply spend with my loved ones, be it frens or family.

hur hurs finally ranted.i rest my case.

AIGHTS moving to a lighter note. while filming for MA a week back or so. i ate at miss clarity's again! the first was with jialing after we mugged in sch one sunday a few weeks back. heee love spending time w that girl. (: the first time i had the squid ink seafood pasta!

it was nice! we went abit late. arnd 10ish. so the food came pretty fast. the pasta tasted yoonique. and it stains ur teeth. so girls. be sure not to order that on ur first date. hahs. thn jialing had the tomato cream softshellcrab pasta. very nice too! (: that place s becoming more pops among the working crowds at bugis, as well as its thomson branch. i guess its the bright colored decor that attracted them. its decor really puts ppl off all the stress they face at work or in sch. (: thn the 2nd time i went w my MA grp mates. david jong & wong! (: they had the set lunch while i went for the squid ink risotto. hur hur guess i wanted to try all the squid ink stuffs with ppl who didnt mind me lookin bad. HA. here it is!

the risotto s nice and chewy. and the prawns n aspartme that came with it are plentiful too. its good value for money. (: wong's red wine risotto s duper nice tooooo. can really taste the wine in it. (: not to mention, we had desserts!! had some choc lava thingy. its DUPER nice. great for those yearning for a strong sugar rush. the vanilla ice cream, together with the warmmmm fudge choc lava cake. omg. its the ultimate sinful indulgence. hur hurs.

aights off to sch for choir now. TAS!

back after a few days . the mid term break s gonna end soonish. but i guess i had a yummy slice of fun!! (: kks. tues we had prac. in the morn.. thn went off to do some MA proj work at kallang way. hur hurs. kinda funn. after that went back to wong's hse to discuss abit more. thn headed off to tiff's for choir bondin session. its fun! i was like da first to reach. thn helped arnd abit w the finishin touch of tiff's uberduper delicious tiramisu. thn bummed arnd till mabs called & we went out to get some more stuff for her salad. THEN while waiting for the rest we helped with the decor of the salad. here's our master piece!!

we took painstakin effort to lay those greens out nicely ehh. (: beams. then quijun came. she brot w her a WHOLE HUGEEE tray of basil pasta. (: looked yumms. then we waited. and waited. and waited. subsequently, the rest arrived. with pizza, sushi, and chips. i didnt know what to contribute, so i bot the honey glazed whole chic fr cold storage. hur hurs. besides all we brought, tiff's home helper kindly made the baked pasta with sausages as well as a bunch of golden fried nuggets. here s our spread of food!!
kenny & the indos came eventually. the indos brot w them donuts!! while kenny shared the pizza with zhimin & co. then we started our feast.i loved quijun's pasta. really yummy. would ve been perfect if it was warmer. but nonetheless its thumbs up. i loved the chic too. tho its bot n not home made, i tot it tasted really nicee. after some tummy packin dinner.. we decided to play some games. started w cranium!! (never did move on to other games after that). its duper fun! in the midst of if we had tiramisu!!it was realllyyyyyy good. the cake was moist while the alcohol was not overpowering.

there were like 4 kinds of games to be played. creative cat, star performer, word worm or brain teaser ( if i dont rem wrongly). very funn. see how everyone made a fool of themselves. sorry to tiff's family for our uncontrollable rowdiness!! (: they were very tolerant & kind. i mean REALLY tolerant. ha.thn donuts were shared. then her helper made strawberry heart! (: some three-layer dessert.(strawberri jello.marshmallow creme.digestive biscuit base) very niceee!! acc to quijun. they sell that very ex outside. sooo...i plan to learn from tiff's helper very soonns. HEEafter games, ppl started leaving. but aaron was still on his way. so a few of us stayed behind for a while more and jus toked cock for the next 2 hrs or so. hur hurs. was q an eventful night i must say. thanks tiff for hosting! (:

met up with joyce sometime the week before last. (: its a saturday i rem vividlyyyy. cos its my first performance with 11th hour! 11th hour s mabel's jamming band, with other smoo people. (: duper cool. she needed a backup vocal. so asked me to help. which i find an honor! (: its for the substation birthday celebration. we sang mainstream songs. like california, walking on sunshine, suddenly i see (OST from devil wears prada), collide, big girls dont cry, and i will survive. really cool beans! (:

11th hour! from left: greg, david, zach, jinsheng, mabel & me! (:

then i actually sprained some muscle between my ribs. quite bad. but thank GOD He helped me through. then after performance didnt noe what to do. then joyce dear asked me out! (: of cos more than happy to meet her. met her at 7-ish at raffles city. wasnt really feeling that well. so ate at soup spoon! (: my fav comfort food on SICK DAYS. hur hur. their soups re jus so yummy. and the bread rolls that come w them re still warm. their business has been brisk over the past few years that they ve opened up a few branches. One at paragon, one at raffles city, and one at raffles place. damn happy to see joyce larh. haven seen her in ages. was her mid term break. thn she updated me bout her all-time interesting stories. HEE. i told her some of mine too of cos.

my pumpkin soup! my favouritest. alot of ppl hate it. but i find it niceeee. i love their bread rolls larh. and i tink their portions re just nice. BEAMS.

both of us ordered the set. i ordered the mango chicken wrap. the wrap s alrighttt. i suspect they re all prepacked. they dont taste THAT fresh.well well. jus a hunch. (:

and here's joyce with her food! -hug

after dinner, decided to walk around bugis. we walked all the way to bugis to shop arnd a lil. bot a few tops! (: real good deals there. hur hurs. thn we walked past a chinese dessert stall. called ji-de-chi (remember-to-eat in direct translation). i had the almond paste with ONE rice ball. not two but ONE. hahas its niceee! thn joyce had the mango one. too bad the food smelt too good. so i forgot to take photos of em.thn we continued to walk walk walk. until yiwei called and asked us to join him to chill. we went to loof! at odeon towers. really nice place. airy, relaxing. really appealing concepts. had a few drinks. thn talked cock larh. thn headed to labyrinth. cos i insisted that its a lupsap place. but yiwei insists otherwise. hur hurs. FINE i was proven wrong larh. oh wells. but still. bad impression of that place. dont ask why.

but great company that night!! (:

one fateful sunday. four good friends decided to be smuggers and head to a snug little GSR at SESS for an afternoon of muggin. these four friends are not to be named. they mugged till the skies were dark and loomy, and decided to brave the drizzling rain to hunt for vietnamese food.viet food is two of the four's favorite cuisine. lucky for one smart smugger who drove, the four did not go under the rain for long. they zapped quickly to a nice little cosy restaurant along killiney road. its brightly lit, with a warm homely aura. they were at Orange Lantern! they ate their favorite pho and noods. drank up nice hot viet drip coffee.
they ordered the well-acclaimed hse specialty: viet fried spring rolls.

they thot the dish was quite yuumms. esp with the sweet & sour chilli accompanying sauce.
THEN two brave souls amidst them decided to be adventurous and ordered the fried sesame crabcake. it was NOT BAD.but a little lacking in the "crabcake" part. hur hurs. they could barely taste crap....oh i mean "crab". then they moved on to their main dishes which came subsequently.

they were hungry souls by then, and totally dug in their dishes before any photos could be taken. what remains is jus one more item to conquer: the famous viet drip coffee. unfortunately. one nice girl among them s caffeine intolerant. so she couldnt taste it. ):

they think orange lantern is still a nice restaurant that sells viet food at reasonable prices. they may just come back anytime soon!! oh here s a peekture they left behind by mistake. (:
